ENSGSI trains future engineer-managers to be ethically responsible, creative, enterprising and entrepreneurial, familiar with the industrial, economic, social, human and environmental issues linked to globalization, requiring all organizations to evolve, reorganize and rethink their development models.

The ENSGSI offers a 3 year course of study based on a train project managers in the management of innovative projects.

Every year, more than 70% of ENSGSI students are hired before the end of their graduation assignment, and their average salary is between €35,000 and €38,000 gross per year, excluding bonuses. Some graduates decide to continue their studies, particularly at doctoral level, or to take up international voluntary work. Others find a job within 6 months of graduating.

How to apply

  • If your home university is a partner of ENSGSI  you can apply for studying one or two semesters at our school.
    Exchange students have the possibility to integrate the Engineering Degree.
    If you are interested in applying you should contact the International Office at your home institution (for application forms, scholarships…).
    You must be nominated by your home university to apply.
    After nomination, the International Office inform us of your application. Then, we will contact you directly to indicate the different steps of application process.

    Academic Calendar:

    • Fall semester: September- January
    • Spring semester: February – June

    Application deadlines

    • May 31st for fall semester or the academic year
    • October 31st for spring semester

    Language requirement

    • Courses are taught mainly in French, a good standard is required (at least B1 level)
    • ENSGSI offers courses of French for foreign students during the semester.

    To improve your level in french before beginning of courses:

  • The Engineering training is composed of two years of preparatory classes and three years of Engineering course.

    Depending on your qualification, you can enrol at the ENSGSI at different levels:

    • With a high school diploma in Sciences : Foreign students can apply as “admis sur titres”on the basis of academic record to enrol the first year of class preparatory.
    • With a post-graduate level : Meaning either 2 years of post-secondary school-education, in which case you can join us as a first-year student and follow all three years of the Engineering course.
    • With an under-graduate level : In which case you can join us as secondary-year students and follow the last two years of the Engineering course.

    Academic Calendar:

    Deadlines for application : May 31th
    All selected applicants will be called in an interview in Nancy at the ENSGSI from the beginning of July.

    At the same time, it is compulsory to register on the website Campus France before december 15th 2023 if you live in one of these following countries:

Tuition fees

By decision of the Board of Directors of the University of Lorraine on December 15, 2020, non-EU students registering for the first time at the University of Lorraine will be required to pay the following tuitions fees each year:

  • 2,770 euros for 1st and 2nd years, then 3,770 euros for 3rd, 4th and 5th years

Alumni Network

Many ENSGSI engineers are involved in the life of the school: giving lectures, participating in admissions juries, chairing end-of-study assignment presentations, giving lectures, proposing internship, work-study and/or job offers… Alumni also have elected representatives on ENSGSI’s governing bodies: the School Council, the Advanced Studies Council and the DDRS Committee.

ENSGSI has a special relationship with the AAGSI – Alumni Association, whose mission is to unite graduates within a dynamic, long-term structure, whether they are in France or abroad, and to help them increase their professional and personal opportunities by promoting contacts and sharing experience.
